How long do the meals last?
You won't find any artificial or chemical preservatives here so all of our freshly-prepared meals have a frozen shelf life of about 12-14 days. You can find a "use by" date on the label of each meal near the nutrition label. After years of experience in the food industry, we have created a science with the proper cook rate and temperature and how quickly the product is frozen for storage and maintain nutritional values and freshness.
We are precise on the freshness of our food quality so we do ask customers which packaging they prefer after checkout. We offer oven ready or microwavable containers.
How do I heat up my meals?
Your meals will come to you fully prepared and frozen. You just have to heat ‘em up. With each delivery, you’ll find our easy steps for heating on a separate card. Generally, the meals heat up in about 3 minutes for a microwave (depending on your microwave). If you’re unsure, start at 2 minutes and heat in 30–second increments until the meal reaches an inner temperature of 165° F. For our oven conatiners, meals will generally take about 10-15 mins. Keep checking every 7 minutes to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165° F.
How much is the delivery fee?
Delivery fee for local Staten Island delivery is $10.00. If you live outside of Staten Island, you must inquire within and receive a quote depending on your address. Delivery fee goes directly to the delivery worker.
